Apple Pie Old Fashioned

Bourbon old fashioned with warm apple and spice notes

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice.
  2. Stir for 15–20 seconds until well chilled.
  3. Strain into a rocks glass over a large cube or fresh ice.

Glassware: Rocks glass
Garnish: Fresh or dehydrated apple wheel + cinnamon stick

Tasting Notes:
Bold and warm, like a drink of apple pie. Apple and spice accentuate the bourbon’s corn sweetness. The perfect fall and winter sipper.
To make the Apple Cider Syrup: Reduce fresh apple cider with sugar in a 2:1 ratio of cider to sugar. Add a touch of cinnamon and boil until reduced to a syrupy consistency.
